Well football season is officially upon us. College football started last week and the NFL started tonight. I love college football!

I’ve been working from home this week. I’ve been studying for a certification test I have to take at work. It’s not hard, but there is a lot of information to cover. I’m hoping to get this test & project completed by the end of the month.

I needed to straighten up my yarn/sewing/crafts closet. Actually, I was looking for the University of Alabama fabric I bought 3 years ago. Yes, I found the fabric and the receipt. I’ve got too many projects started. Between two shawls I’ve been working on for 5 years to MULTIPLE quilting projects started. I could sew for the next six months just on those projects exclusively.

How do you handle your stash and projects? I’ve got to figure out a better way than I’m doing now. I’ve bought fabric, but don’t even know what I was going to do with it. I drive myself crazy!!!

I mentioned in my last post that I had two friends who were not doing well. I’m so glad to say that both ladies are out of the hospital and one is back to work! GOD IS SO GOOD!!!

Hug your spouse and kids right now! Tell them you love them right now! We aren’t promised tomorrow!

Enjoy the games this weekend! ROLL TIDE!

Well, it’s been quite awhile since I’ve posted. Updates to the family: hubby got a job a little longer than 2 years ago & had his 2nd hip replacement surgery a little over a year ago. Kids are both in college-studying different majors than they had originally planned. We’ve got two dogs and two cats (one outside). We did a cruise back in May to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary with the kids. It was so enjoyable!

College football has started with a bang. Hubby & kids went to the SC-NC game in Columbia. Hubby & I went to the Alabama-Va Tech game yesterday. We are tired today. Hubby’s mom & brother are here watching the Clemson-Georgia game. Yes, the entire family loves college football. We’ll be attending more games…

I have two friends (who i work with) who are sick – one with cancer and one with renal issues. Please remember both of these ladies in your prayers.

Thankful to God for His blessings! Nothing is more important than your family. Hug them and love them daily. Life is short AND very unpredictable. We aren’t guaranteed the next minute.
