Running, Yoga and Pain

I ran in the Hartwell Dam race May 2, 2015. I had a real good race.

I ran the Chick-Fil-A series race on May 30th. I ran it about 1 minute 15 seconds faster than last year and came in second in my age group! I didn’t stay around for the awards, but they sent me my medal! So proud of that race!

I started having some issues with my hamstrings, the back of my knees and my behind. Those are really strange places to be hurting. I’ve slacked off yoga for a while, thinking that could be the problem. I’m not convinced that it is.  I haven’t run in a week!

I think I’m going to get an appointment with the sports medicine physicians. If nothing else, maybe they can refer me to physical therapy and get me straightened out.

My husband and I are celebrating our 32nd anniversary tomorrow! I’m so thankful that God brought us together. He’s a wonderful husband and father. I’ve very blessed!
